Hidden Under Her Heart
By Rachelle Ayala
Hidden Under Her Heart takes it's Readers on a Rollercoaster on the emotional levels of Maryanne and Lucas. This novel tests the elements bringing to life the consequences of Rape and Abortion.
I will be completely honest, I fought myself on reading this novel. I would pick it up, and put it back down just as easily; but for the purpose of doing a review over it, I kept going. The two characters the novel places focus on, annoyed me; they seemed very self centered and ultimately caused me to roll my eyes a few times; however; all of that changed and towards the end of the novel it turned into a "I just can't put it down". Now, it has stuck with me in my mind and I am very greatful that I was given the opportunity to do this review.

Content Advisory: This novel is Pro-Life, there are some swear words, the rape is not in detail, however, there is a mild sex scene between her and her boyfriend, if any of this bothers you, I would not recommend it as a read for you.
